Summary: At the Policeman's Christmas Ball Morgan works to protect those around him by any means necessary when all he really wants is to enjoy some time with his true friends.
Notes: Another one-shot from my Noir AU "Living For the Night" (thanks let_it_linger21 for the name) for the season. As always, first person (this time from Morgan's POV), dark, gritty, and while not overly graphic this one has pairings that make it one of the squikiest thing I've ever wrote. Also, yes, the title is a real film noir title but the meaning is being played with here...obviously, haha!
