2010 CM Fanfic Awards
Jan. 18th, 2011 01:50 amarwen-lalaith.livejournal.comOur lovely mod has given me permission to promote the Awards because we both agree that all us rare-pair 'shippers need to get moving and make sure all the wonderful fics and authors that don't fall under those big bad Morgan/Reid, Hotch/Reid, Hotch/Prentiss, Morgan/Garcia, and JJ/Prentiss ): categories don't fall by the wayside!
If you didn't already know, the 2010 CMFFAs are your chance as the reader to celebrate the best of the best authors and their fic! Nominations will remain open until January 24th - click on the banner to get to the info post. So, be sure and check them out, it's a great opportunity to make that writer, toiling away in anonymity out of love for our great fandom, feel special! Alright, that ends my speech as the responsible mod...now, I'm here to talk to you as the avid Morgan/Prentiss fan we all know I am, so listen up! As a proponent of a rare-pair 'ship, I'm always extremely disappointed at how sadly under-represented not just M/P, but rare-pairs as a whole are. We all know that this is not at all representitive of the quality writing we have among us! If you want your 'ship to have its own category, rather than be lumped into Best Rare-pair, you need to get nominating (we need at least 3 in each category!)
So, please, I urge you to dust off that list of your favorite fics and submit your nominations! Let's show the fandom what our 'ships are capable of!
