Summary: Both Ethan's and Hotch's words from their face-off affect the other...and Reid as well.
Notes: This is AU but there are Season 5 spoilers!! Piece 19 of my "Breaking the Bonds" series...it takes place pretty much just after the last piece. There's cursing, vague references to child abuse, drug usage, lots of sexual activity (het and slash both), and, as always, angst. (Ethan was Reid's friend from Season 2's "Jones".) This one is cut up much like an earlier piece, going back and forth between what's happening with Hotch and Reid and what's happening with Ethan.
